With Decaying Citadel's Zach in tow, tonight's entry into the Vault is that of a monstrous dooming thud. Zach brought some Doom, I brought some Doom and the world was better for it. Ashame he had to leave early. The doom had just begun. Still, TK stopped in to chill and made the night go by fast, even with the doom spinning.

I was thinking about how this show was created. I do not know the form that the music needs to be in - physical CDs or MP3s - to be played on the radio, but I would be willing to share some tunes if you ever did another themed show like this and needed more content. As an idea, perhaps a demo show or something?
ReplyDeleteEverything played is basically from my personal collection, CD, Tape or Vinyl.
ReplyDeleteI have thought of doing a demo only show one night but I would need more power metal demos. I would want to play basically demos of all kinds and there just doesn't seem to be a lot of underground power / traditional metal demos floating around. I need to comb through the Bylec - Tum distro lists again, I know GG had a bunch of heavy metal demos in there that weren't listed as black or death.
I figured as much, but the only reason I mentioned this was because you had said the guy from Decaying Citadel had brought some material too. I understand the issues with an all demo show but know the offer is on the table.
ReplyDeleteI shall keep it in mind. I have pretty much, the next month of shows all set up already since I have guests coming on every show almost but maybe towards the summer when I have more demos from this year I can play. I wanted to do a "demo's this year" kind of show in December but didn't have enough material. Maybe this December?
ReplyDeleteAlso, I am still trying to write an article for you but I have been pretty busy. I didn't forget though! All hail the King!
Hey, no worries, I have been taking some time off from reviews lately anyway to simply listen to and enjoy music again.
ReplyDeleteAlso, I was wondering how much active recruiting you have been doing for issue #2. I had started a little bit, but I really have nothing set aside for the zine. Are you still shooting for the summer sometime? How has the first issue sold?
