  1. I have not had the opportunity look at what is expected to be coming out this year, so off the top of my head I would say I am looking forward to new Ludicra the most followed by Orphaned Land. I think the new Immolation, Sigh and High on Fire will all be solid. I am morbidly curious about the new Burzum and hope to get new albums from Grand Magus and Symphony X.

  2. And why didn't you call in? We could have had a nice discussion!

But yes, Grand Magus is due this year and have been working on new material and I agree with all your other mentions though I could do without a new Symphony X album. Never been a HUGE fan of theirs though I should give their albums more time to settle.

    Happy New Year Mr. Cripple!

  3. Maruta and Gate are working on new albums for this year. Gonna choke on my own drool waiting for those. Rotten Sound will release an EP in March. Wormrot got a few splits planned. Shitstrorm have a split and an album planned...

Gonna have to stop there. 2010 will drain my bank account. I can feel it.

  4. I will think about calling in perhaps next week if I remember the show, which will most likely prove to be troublesome.

By the by, did you ever get a new computer? I see that you update quite regularly on the M-A forum, but it has been awhile since your last review.

I am now off to look at what release is expected this year. Happy New Year to you as well,... and that's KING Cripple

  5. I also have to amend my "most anticipated list". I found out earlier today that Ne Obliviscaris is currently in the studio recording their debut album. The Aurora Veil was amazing and I really want to see what these guys can do with the expanded format of a full-length album.

  6. Should be a good year...new High on Fire (cover is shitty but I'm hopeful), Highgate, Bong, (maybe) Graves at Sea, Bosque, Cathedral, Thou, Fistula, Ghast...and many more, I'm sure.

  7. @ Mr. King Cropple: I should have a new computer within two weeks. I've been using my parents for the time being. I have reviews written but haven't transferred them from my notebook to the computer.

That Ne Obliviscaris should be interesting to hear also. Didn't know they were doing anything new.

@ 206: Not into much grind really but the Rotten Sound EP should tickle some tender spots. I'm sure that you and the rest of the Chainsaw gang will compel me to listen to more though.

@ Zach: I saw that new High On Fire and told myself that you would be looking forward to it and I would therefore have to check it out. New Bosque sounds amazing though. I'd like to check out the new Thou as well since I've heard such good things about them.
